Having successful relationships after remodeling your body

What does winning mean to you? Does it mean dominating at all cost? Crushing everyone around you, competition or not?  In the dictionary, it has several meanings and if you do a pole of 10 people you are likely to get several varying definitions.  However, if winning means you must be the first and best at everything you do, you are probably coming from a selfish, and self-centered mindset.

Winning vs. Succeeding:

A win by definition means to prevail. Prevail illustrates that you must overcome obstacles to triumph, succeed, and win through your goal with an overtone of at all cost. Succeed means to thrive, prosper, grow, or the like to end in a desirable outcome. Where Win suggests that the outcome takes no consideration for the needs of others, succeed keeps a much more positive purpose and meaning. Therefore, true winners want to succeed not just to win.

Being a Kind Winner:

An out of control ego will sometimes arise from people who are successful. They idolize themselves and become so engrossed in their success that they forget the people who have helped them to succeed.  They believe they are Idols or icons, statues, gods, deities which are regarded as living heroes, stars or pin-ups.  They are often so idolized they are worshiped by their fans.  If this is your goal, to step on those who helped you to get where you’re trying to goal, it’s a limited amount of time before you run out of people who are patient enough to help you maintain your position.  As you run out of fans, you will likewise run out of funding to keep the lifestyle going.

I lost a childhood star at a Comic Convention:

When I was in my early twenties I was invited to a comic convention. I went along because I wanted to see what the excitement was about and I heard that a famous baseball player from when I was a kid would be there.  I was looking forward to meeting him. I just wanted to shake his hand. When I got there I was online behind a young boy about 5 or 6.  He was wearing the player’s Jersey Number and he asked the player to sign his baseball. The player said $40.  The kid was confused.  The guys I was with and I thought it was a bit rude, his dad said we don’t have $40 will you consider… And before he could finish the baseball player said: “I said $40, if you don’t have it then keep moving.” The guys in my group and I were trying to put the money together, but the little boy ran off in tears his father following him.

I was next, the player moaned “What do you want?” as if he had a hangover. I replied I want the guy I believe in as a child to come back, but those days are gone. He responded, “Yup, you can’t go back, and I can’t eat the good wishes from a kid that can’t pay for a signature”.  I was devastated, I couldn’t believe that time turned him into such an ungrateful person. You could tell he was miserable.

Success at redesigning your body:

To lose weight you obviously need to eat clean, it’s not a new concept. Take the word diet out of your vocabulary.  Exercise and drink a lot of water.  To gain weight and muscle it’s much the same.  Exercise and plan your eating program around strength, muscle, staying power, etc.  Increasing the exercise as you gain more strength and endurance is a major part of achieving the goal.  When you expand your goals and increasing the weight or repetitions, be careful not to overdo it.  A personal trainer can help you to move forward with this part of your goal.

As you exercise to keep track of your successes and failures, successful athletes must earn what they want, not just sit and wait for it comes to them.  No one else can give you a lean body and strong muscle.  Training hard, eating clean and getting what you deserve for those efforts.  It’s all about lifestyle management when you are redesigning your body. Truly successful athletes are grateful for their own accomplishments and blessing and are extremely kind to their fans.  It’s a lot of fun because I’ve seen many bodybuilders get more excited about their fans then the fans were excited about the bodybuilders.  That really gives a great outcome for the people who wish to be like the athlete, and that’s my definition of success in improving one’s health and body.
